Lake District 10 Peaks Challenge
Aqua Consultants were pleased to sponsor the checkpoint & feeding station at the top of Scafell Pike, Lakeland's highest peak during this year's 10 Peaks Challenge.
The photo shows the impressive team that carried 70-80 kg of provisions and water to the summit.
Our Southern office, senior staff member, Graham Harbour, successfully completed the gruelling 73Km, 10 Peaks challenge.
Aqua Build Deep Bore Water Well in Cambodia
Aqua commission the build of a deepbore water well in Cambodia in summer 2008. The project has been a success and is benefiting hundreds of villagers whom would be deprived of this simple need.
Aqua Buy Laptops for Orphanage in Pakistan
Education is key to ensuring that water resources are maintained and managed ensure that people are not deprived of the simple human need that is clean potable water. To aid this Aqua purchased a number of laptops in 2009 and them to a orphanage so that the orphans can be taught about the importance of clean water.
Aqua Built Water Well in Ghana
Aqua are proud to announce that we have commissioned the build of a water well in Ghana. The build has commenced and we the works to be completed in Autumn 2010. We will update the website with photos of the actual well . Clean water should be accessible by all and we are committed to this goal.
Aqua’s Gromit conquers 10 Peak’s for Water Aid
Graham Harbor (AKA Gromit) embarked on a huge challenge to reach the summits of the ten highest mountains in the lake district covering 45 miles for the chosen charities, WaterAid and Macmillan Cancer. As it stands the amount raised is in the region of £1000. Gromit is starting the year long training regime to bring him to next year's event more prepared and more determined than ever to complete challenge.
Chairman's Challenge
Aqua Chairman, Dennis Pindar, recently completed the Coast to Coast walk from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay.
After atrocious weather and tail end of hurricanes Irene & Katia, he was relieved to get into Robin Hood's Bay after walking 200 miles for his charity, Alzheimer's Society.
Dennis thanks Aqua and his other sponsors for being able to raise nearly £1000.
